Does any Scirocco 2.0 TSI have a cambelt?
Does any Scirocco 2.0 TSI have a cambelt?
I have read other posts on this but I am still seeing cars for sale that mention cambelt change.I am looking at a 2008 Scirocco 2.0 TSI and it states cambelt change. Could anyone answer this once and for all
as I have seen conflicting stories on the 2.0 TSI I think they are all chain driven but not 100%. Thanks everyone

It's definitely a chain, I think it is only the 'R' that has a cambelt.

Only the R and the diesels have cambelts . All other Sciroccos are chain driven.
People get confused because the engine in the MK5 Golf Gti of the same era and power output has a cambelt.
