Replacement of Exhaust Silencer

Post by whetstone »

Dear all,

Just wondering if to replace Scirroco R exhaust silencer onto Scirocco 2.0, will the car performance affected?

Replacement of Exhaust Silencer

Sorry didn't understand at first, I'd assume they would just be the same apart from the dual exit. All oem is fairly quiet i doubt you'll notice a difference.

My friend have a set of R exhaust assy which had been removed several months ago. Just wondering if I wish to get from him to install onto mine, will it caused any problem since it had been placed for sometime...

Anyone here ever installed Rocco R exhaust onto Rocco 2.0? Mind to share the experience?

I know its been done but its not something i've heard alot about.. All I can say is you wont see any benefit other than improving the looks. But to install a full R exhaust you would need to replace the rear bumper to the r or r-line and then replace the diffuser in the r-line case.

If you want more noise/ performance gains I would invest in a new exhaust

I would do it just for aesthetics if I could afford the bumper and respray that goes with it
