2.0 TSI groaning

Post by ash.mtl »

Evening all

So for a couple of weeks now if been hearing this whine / groan.
Finally got round to popping back to VW and after 3 days couldnt find a fault.
Now the car is not affected at all performance wise and nothing is showing on the ECU
What's happening is when mainly pulling of or starting to reverse it whines so to speak ( abit like chewey for the Star Wars fans ) I would say it's like on the biting point , actions going on are steering and pulling away so to me it's either steering colum , ( which I think is unlikely , ) clutch or accelerator , but I don't know what , anyone else experienced anything similar?

Cheers
