Hi there, this is my first post in this forum so pls be gentle!
Just bought my rocco (2.0 TDI GT 170HP Candy White) from 2011 immaculate... But on Saturday the right dip beam light decided to die... Went to Hallfords and bought a brand new bolt for it and changed myself... Now the problem begins... The dipped beam light just won't go off on the control panel, only when I turn off the car/engine... You can put the control on the dashboard on auto or 0 and it still stays on! Any thoughts on what's going on with it?!
BTW: because of that when I was trying to understand what was going on I just lost/misplaced the rubber protection from the beam (the round rubber capsule/thing) does anyone knows were to get one?! Don't wanna the humidity to damage the beam!

As WhiteDevil says vw build the scirocco without the option of turning the dipped beam off unless you select sidelight only option. This can be changed via VCD changes (or another option i'm unsure of). It seems unlikely replacing a bulb would reset VCD settings to default but anythings possible . Even so the default setting is for lights always to be on.
