Hi liri9

I had the same issue with my passenger seat but didn't find any parts, it was like that when I bought it from the dealership. If you push your driver's seat fully back then pull the handle on the top of the seat and slide it all the way forward you will see the part on the inner rail.....

The part is off a guide block part number 8T0-898-025 and is sold in pairs.

Look at my post in the following topic 'seat tilt mechanism fault - new seat' for more info.

Hope this helps, if you need any more info just let me know.

Thank you very much. I found it on the driver side and i went to VW dealer and order that complete part and I will get it in a few days. Can i just slide in the part from the back on the passenger seat or how did U get the part on.

Hi
It's easy to fit and takes a matter of minutes.

You need to remove the holding down bolt at the rear of the inner rail, can't remember off the top of my head the size but know it's a spline bit. Once you've removed the bolt slide the new guide block onto the rail (make sure you fit the correct one) compare the driver's side guide block and fit the opposite one.
Hope this all makes sense.....

Any more questions don't hesitate to ask.

Good luck and let me know how you get on.
