Vw extended warranty with mondial.

Post by flashash »

My manufacturer warranty ends soon and I am trying to decide whether to get the extended warranty. It's £326 for 1 year. Thoughts? ? Cheers

IMO, of all the warranties available this is the closest you get to the manufacturers warranty and worth the money. I've used it when I had a MK5 R32 without any issue and currently have a policy with my Scirocco.

In general, I'm not a fan of buying warranties and prefer to have cash set aside for emergencies.

Everyone's view on risk is different though.

I bought mine with extended warranty provided by mondial and have just extended it for another year. For the same price quoted to you. I opted to pay monthly, which you can cancel at any time.
I just see it as peace of mind, if I make just one claim it will have paid for itself.
