Hi all,
Today my sunroof stopped working so I checked the fuses and happened to pull out the airbag fuse by mistake (never looked at the fuse diagram) so put fuse back in and sunroof OK but now on the dash it states Airbag fault, I've never had any error faults on the car before this so is this fault showing simply because I pulled the fuse? If this is the case how can I get rid of the light on the dash?
Regards
Airbag Fault

Re: Airbag Fault
Was the ignition switched on when you pulled the fuse? If so, that will be the cause of the airbag light. If not, were you sliding the seats back and forth. It's common to have connection issues with the harness to the seats.
You can reset the light by disconnecting the battery, otherwise you need to.reset using VCDS.

Oh dear,
Disconnected the battery and reconnected and airbag fault, ESP fault and power steering light now on, Eeek. What to do now?

Re: Airbag Fault
Took car for short drive and ESP light and power steering now off, just airbag remaining. Looks like I'll have to get it reset. Is this a job that I could do have bought the correct bit of kit? if so which is the best kit to go for.

Perfectly normal, just drive slowly in a straight line and they should go out.lloydie63 wrote:Oh dear,

Edit: I see you've realised this but still have the airbag light.
