Passenger Side Auto-Slide

Post by SPEEDDRV »

Hey everyone,
I think i'm having a issue with my passenger seat. On driver seat, everytime i try to access the back seat, i pull something on the side of the seat and make it go forward. Then the seat is "unlocked" and all of it can go forward automatically. It's very easy for people to access the back seats.
But none of this happens on passenger seat. Is there something wrong or only the driver seat is able to do this? When i pull something for the lombar part of the seat to go forward it goes. But then the rest of the seat is "locked", so that i have to manually pull something under it for the seat to go entirely forward. Hope you understand my problem.

Thank you in advance.

Both seats should slide. The seat release is cable operated so sounds like the cable needs adjustment or the sliders want some lubrication or both.

Thank you for your answer bud... Everything is fine on driver's seat. Now that i know passenger seat should work like driver's, i will try to figure it out or take it to dealer. Hope it's not expensive. ;)
