Hi all,
Fitted reverse camera to my aftermarket head unit
Auto selects camera when reverse engaged, keeps music playing in background etc.
Has park lines and you can even activate parking assist lines.
Not bad for £25 and comes all pre wired, just a case of fitting and routing wires.
Few pic's. Excuse state of car is manky!!!
Camera is located inbetween number plate lights.
Theres no such thing as "grey area" im just plain and simple "black & white"

Looks good but looks to me like its at a bit of an angle and needs adjusting so the reg plate isnt in view and you see more of the surrounding area.

I have re adjusted the camera today to its max high point, you can still see edge of bumper in view but a lot more view of behind car now.
Its good to see that little bit of bumper also because when you look it's actually the furthest most point of bumper to see exactly how close you can get.

Just for comparison , this is what the view looks like with the OEM VW camera

Looks good, same with yours you can just see a little bumper on it.
My camera doesnt have the same angle as oem, its adjusted to its max angle.
Its a good enough view when parking against obstacles.
In this pic below i am parked on a angle on my drive, its not a crap camera angle. Will take some new shots when straight on a road etc.

There you go, a view on a level straight road.
Can see very far into the distance.
Hope this shows better angle for you all.
Ive tested it against a wall and with the white of the bumper only a little from wall the car was say 2-4" away.
Works well.
