have the car had a repair done on the door? I am asking because i sell a product called sound deadening pads. they are heavy asphalt like pads you stick on the inside panel of the door, floor and boot, to absorb sound. I have sold less since the onset of the recession because bodyshops are scaling back and often won;t stick them back on, after they had done the repair. As the area is covered by door trims and carpets, the public won't know about it.
