Scirocco Storage.

Post by tyrannosauRoss »

Yeah, bit of a dull topic for an exciting car.

But I'm struggling for storage space. In my old golf in the boot there was a compartment with a strap that nicely held 2xde-icer, scraper, hi-viz (and still had room left)
But in the rocco I can't see anything like that, yes there's a strap but with the giant bottles of dicer this doesn't fit underneath the over-hang.

Am I needing to get my eyes checked and there's more storage? What are your guys solutions to this?

I'm fed up with the thing rolling about.

I don't store anything in my car other than a iPod nano in the armrest. So don't have your problem. But
You can buy holders with Velcro on the back on eBay that can be used as storage.
Just Velcro it to the back of the rear seats in the boot.

I had something like this lying around. Came free with my last car!

I have stuck multiple adhesive Velcro pads to the bottom so it doesn't move. Looks like that one actually has those Velcro strips on.
I just stick it to the floor of the boot in the corner and put everything in it I need. Never bothers me!
Boot is more then big enough

I was in Aldi today too, to kill some time.

But yeah, think something like those linked is the option.

Bought the aldi one yesterday for wife's car, it's got Velcro on both he bottom and the sides so fixes well to the carpet, original one I bought for my car didn't have Velcro on the bottom.
