Hazard Lights automatically coming on

Post by wnewton01 »

Hi,

I have a 2011 2l Scirroco GT and i was just wondering is there any way when your driving quite hard to stop your hazard lights automatically coming on under heavy breaking? Im getting sick of turning them off whenever i get to a corner.

Thanks

"It should be under central electronics, they have it in the VAG-COM coding tweaks on vortex, but for some reason ross tech says that its via flashers when there are two options: Emergency brake warning via flashers and emergency brake warning via tail lights. I have tail lights selected, and it flashes the taillights then turns on the hazards after you've come to a complete stop and keeps them on until you start moving again."

Sorry for digging an old post but mine doesn't do it. Today I tested it. I was driving at 70 km/h and brake as hard as I could. ABS gets activated and I come to a complete stop. The road was a little bit wet. Nothing came on. No hazards, nothing. I don't know on the outside but on inside was all just normal. I would like to have flashing brake lights and hazards to automatically come on after an emergency brake.

Edit: 2012 2.0 TDI
