Service Now!
Checked the service reminder on my Roc (pressing the 0.0 button while turning on) the display comes up saying Service Now! yet the car is only just over 6 months old and done 4800 mile
The book says service after 12 months/10000 miles.
Guess the display is just wrong?

Re: Service Now!
Same as mine! Is this the first time you have checked it? Mine has done 2500 miles and said this since new. Took it in and they said it was right though on their machine. I drove away thinking it had been reset, but NO! I need to take it back down.

Re: Service Now!
I haven't checked it myself... how do you do it exactly?? If I hold down the button it just resets the distance
Re: Service Now!
Mine's working, on Long Life servicing.
I've done 6500 miles, showing 12,000 to service, and has been counting down pretty consistently.
To check (I think) the service requirement, ignition on, engine not running, press and hold trip reset for more than two seconds. The trip initially zeros, then goes back to showing whatever miles it read previously, and shows time/distance to service.
I think there's something in the hand book about it having to have done so many miles or days before it can make a guess on when servuce is required.

Re: Service Now!
Yeah I think I have been doing it wrong and have by mistake now reset it.
You should hold down the 0.0 while the ignition is turned on and not while your turning the car on as I had been doing (had to do this in my old BMW)
Guess it serves me right for not reading the manual!!!!
