With a: Manual box
Options: Truffel Leather, 19" Wheels, DVD Sat Nav, Xenon Lights, Bluetooth Phone, Parking Sensors, Drivers Electric Seat, Electric Fold-able Mirrors, Winter Pack, Hill Hold, Flat Tyre Indicator - added VW Racing Springs, and changed Bluetooth to newer model.

I was browsing yesterday and curiously came across the part codes for the rear brakes of VW's with the TRW calliper (1KD).

1J0 698 451 K - for VW vehicles such as 1.8T 180ps; 2.3 V5 170ps
1J0 698 451 L - for VW vehicles such as 2.8 V6; 3.2 R32
1J0 698 451 P - for standard vehicles.

Although the fitments are all the same, I can only deduce that the friction material is better in the L and K compares to the P. Is this correct? Anyone have any ideas?
