EGR + Secondary pump location

Post by gijoe9482 »

Hi everyone,
Just had my rocco in as the AC wasn't working (wiring grounding to body), and they (VW) detected two potential faults reading from the canbus which wasn't showing on the engine lamp. I'm not going to take action until the engine lamp comes on (unless you guys think i should take action).
The faults are below, but just wondering if you can tell me where the EGR and the secondary pump is located so i can investigate / change the items out myself. Any ideas how easy / hard it is? A bit gutted that there is no Haynes Manual for the mk3 Rocco.

1 - EGR actuator lever broken. Complete EGR will need to be replaced i am told. I think this is right at the front of the engine in the middle, but when i checked the part code on the internet, it was listed as air inlet valve. Wrong place?

2 - Secondary pump is on its way out. I'm told that this is an electric pump that operates if the engine temp is too high and you turn off the ignition.

Thanks for your help.
