Hoping someone could shed some light on this. Car went very strange today during a drive. Pulled up after at some traffic lights and she seems to be misfiring. Doesn't sound well at all and struggles to get going with the dsg. It's been revo remapped recently but I don't feel like this is the issue.

Someone on another forum suggested it could be cool pack but I am clueless :?

Certainly sounds like a faulty coilpack. Pretty common issue on petrol VAG cars. A new one will set you back around £30 from dealer.or TPS.

Only if it's misfiring on idle. If it is, you disconnect each of the 4 coilpacks one at a time and when you remove the faulty one there is no diference to.the idle. When you remove a good one tje engine gets rougher as it's.losing a cylinder.

If it's only misfing under load, you need VCDS to.identify which cylinder is misfiring.

Other option is to change all 4 coilpacks.

If your changing the coil packs, might as well put uprated spark plugs and R8 coil packs in as well.

Plugs would be my next action unless you have access to VCDS and can diagnose more fully.
