Afternoon all,

Just got the service message up and i'm now on 39,000 miles - is this one of the major services? Does anyone know whats involved (DSG oil etc?) and roughly how much i should be expecting to pay out? Cheers!

Yes, DSG is due an oil and filter change at 40k, which is around £200.

Don't know how old the car is but brake fluid gets changed at 3yrs then every 2 years thereafter. If it's due it will be around £60.

Although plugs and air filter are not due to 60k miles, I would get them done therefore a major service should cost around £250.

Cheers mate! The car is 5 years old now (hadn't even thought about it! ) and the air filter isn't oem so I imagine they'll leave it alone (hopefully) thanks for your help
