Have the RNS510 in the R and it's a great unit.
But I do miss having 6 CDs loaded.
I have the MDI interface which I don't need/use.
Anyone know if the 6CD Changer can be retrofitted?

Isn't the cd-changer within in the unit?

You say you don't use the MDI. Why don't you?
Buy a cheap ipod nano, plug it into the MDI and just leave it in the cubby hole permanently. That way you can have hundreds of CDs loaded never mind 6. You could probable do the same even cheaper with a memory stick but I've not tried that.
Would think it would be loads cheaper than a VW autochanger too.

Not on the RNS510, it just has a single DVD/CD drive.lewihoga wrote:Isn't the cd-changer within in the unit?
I agree with the other posters and just use a USB stick with the MDI or an SD card plugged into the unit.
