Hi guys,
Searched the forums and couldn't find anything... wanted to get your thoughts.
Had a set of H&R Sport Springs fitted and the car is sitting beautifully. However I know get a terrible "clunk" when I fit anything remotely uneven - man hole cover, pot hole, speed bump... anything that causes disruption to the rear of the car. I had a look and did the tailgate fix as thought it could be that, but not joy (fits like a glove now). Getting a little nervous.
Took her into the garage and they told me it was wheel bearings. Didn't think it was but they were convinced it was... and low and behold, it's still there :-(
Anyone else has this experience and know what the issue could be? Don't want to replace the shocks unless absolutely necessary as I did not have this issue on the old springs!
Thank you

So after 4 trips to the garage and VW it was finally identified as the drop links! vW had no clue, just glad for it all to be sorted now :-)

Were they worn or just not fitted properly?
