Hey,
Can anyone give me technical information on the automatic rear view mirror?
The problem I have noticed is that if the button is pressed to turn on my anti dazzle, I understand a green light is supposed to come on, but nothing happens?
Can anyone offer an explanation? Is it powered by battery or is it connected to the electrics on the car?
Thanks

Re: Anti-Dazzle rear view mirror
You should indeed have a green light - and the system is hard wired in to the car (no batteries).

I would check the fuse list first and ensure the one controlling that circuit has not blown. Is the car under warranty?

Just checked that list, can't see anything on there that would relate to a rear view mirror.
Yea the car has a warranty... i like a challenge though

Wait... i found it... but that fuse seems to safeguard alot... i would expect other stuff to not be working in this case. Do we know if it only turns on if its dark and bright shiny shiny lights are behind you? Or should the green power light come on at anytime?

Well the green light should be illuminated at all times when the mirror is switched on (not just when dimmed) - obviousl first thing to check is its actually switched on.....
