Central Locking

Post by JohnsonAsco »

When I unlock my car the orange lights flash, and lights come on. When I lock my car they don't flash but the lights go off like usual, but my question is are the orange lights supposed to flash when I lock my car I can't remember if they ever did flash when I lock it.

Yes - your indicators flash twice for unlock and once for locking (or something like that anyway). I think you can change these with vagcom or a highline MFD if you have one.

If the boot or one of the doors is not shut right then the indocators won't flash when you push the lock button. So possibly that was your issue.
