scirocco service due

Post by vwnutjob »

Hi

Im in the market for a rocco and have found one local to me, that ticks all the boxes with the right spec and right price, However i have 1 small concern, it says service due in 3 days and the owner says he couldn't get it booked in for a couple of weeks, I am just wondering how the warranty is effected isit normal for people to get it serviced after the x amount of days has ran out?

VW allow 30 days / 1,000 miles grace on servicing before it affects warranty.

You can even use that to your advantage. See if he'll knock off £200 to cover you having to do it.

Services are typically between £150 and £300 depending on if it's a minor or major one.
