Quick Question

Post by candyboytsi210 »

Hey guys,

Quick question really.

2.0 TSi Owners Preferably, When in D Mode, what sort of speed does your car go without touching the accelarator or break?

I mean of course down hill is a different story just in general i mean.

and also does the rear spoiler need to be removed to replace the 3rd break light?

Thanks :)

Without touching the accelerator, the car just 'creeps' so < 5mph.

As for the brake light, I am certain the tailgate has to be removed to replace it, which is poor design IMHO.

Yes the boot lid has to come off. I've had 2 cracked high level lights. The first one cost me £120, the second was done free as it was only another 3 months later. Haven't hd it since but I've been more careful shutting the boot, just dropping it from 3-4 inches instead of a sort of chest high drop/slam.

And as above, it creeps at walking speed when in any of the drive modes although I find it's a little smoother in D than in manual. Great for manoeuvring and rush hour traffic.
