tried my best but cnt get the wiper to come away from the motor spindle

I'm thinking of doing this myself i'm just trying to gauge how often i use the rear wiper before going too drastic! I had a look on youtube where a guy removes the wiper from a mk6 golf. I know its not the same but it's the best i could find and may offer some support

its pretty easy. the rear wiper is pathetic anyway get rid!
