I needed a set of roof bars for our upcoming touring holiday through France. I'd done a bit of research and having found mixed reviews on the non oem stuff - i decided that i really wanted a set of genuine VW bars http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/owners/acce ... /7#details -but i really didn't fancy paying £310 for them :eyepop:

I wont these on ebay for just £130 , they're in perfect condition - the chap only ever used them once :yes:

I picked them up from the seller in Winchcombe , it's a little village in the middle of the Cotswolds - about an hours drive from me. Its a beautiful part of the country , with some fantastic country lanes . The sun was shining , and the roads were sticky - I had such a fantastic time driving there and back in the rocco , that when i got back home - i threw my leathers on and went back down there on my bike !

What a great day :)

Good stuff Lee, makes up the misfortune with the tyre! £310 is very steep original price, and of course they are the sort of thing that is rarely used.
