RNS 510 problem with creating voice tags.

Need some help from you fellas or gals experienced on I.C.E please.
When trying to create voice tags for principle persons in my phone book on my RNS 510, all I get on play back is "static mush" you'll have to excuse my description of noise.
Any help much appreciated.

did your BT work prior to this?
you may either need to unable microphone on telephone and enable microphone on the RNS using VCDS

Thanks for answering mr gee ,yes bt works fine, but how is VCDS used to do this can you post me the procedure please thanks.

It's been a while, but using VCDS,
electronics control module 77 telephone - disable microphone
in control module 37 navigation, enable microphone.
may not be exactl but something like that. If you have trouble pm me then I'll double check by plugging into my car.
