I love my 122ps scirocco, it is cheap to run, insure and great to drive.

Now coming up to my fourth year of ownership (bought new) I have maxed out its performance envelope.

I, NEED, MOAR, POWAH

(staying with petrol, thanks)

So I am still to settle the balloon payment on my car (never again!) then anything I have saved can be used to make the move, probably this spring/summer.

Now, I re-he-hea-heally want a 2nd hand R, some come down to nice prices but they are still expensive cars second hand. That being said these are £30k+ new!

The R is rare, the R is more hardcore (seen one a year on average!), the R has blue speedometer needles (this is suprisingly important to me) and the R looks :eyepop:

However a 210 GT with a remap at a later date is much more affordable.

I have no problem buying a used car with 50-60k on the clock, but a mate said I need to consider its re-sale vale after I put on 30k miles. Should I be thinking like that or is re-sale value hit massively anyway after it has had two owners?

What do people think?

I want to do this this year whilst my car is worth something. Spec is as per sig.

Cheers

In my opinion you shouldn't be looking into changing car & already be considering what it will sell for in x amount of time
