folding mirrors
hi, does anyone else find their electric folding mirrors to be rather dimwitted, sometimes ill jump in the car turn the engine on and then after a few seconds ill flick the switch to fold them out and nothing happens? and i end up having to move it back in place turn the car off fully and re start all over again, can't quite fathom why ?

Re: folding mirrors
Yes, that's perfectly normal. I just assume there is a time constraint between switching tbe ignition on / starting the engine and them operating due to some module resetting.
I now just wait a few seconds longer and they work first time every time.

The folding mirrors on my Golf R32 were exactly the same.robb wrote:ah ok cheers mate thought something was giving way in the motors or something , must just be trying it a little too quickly haha
