heater doesnt seem right

Post by Dunk04 »

hi guys,

i just picked up my first rocco. a 2009 1.4 tsi 160.

when i have the heater up to the highest temperature its roasting, but when i turn it down about 2 clicks it goes really cold ? almost like the ac is on.
has anyone ever came across this or heard of it ? almost like a temperature sensor ?

cheers

What heating system do you have? Climatronic (climate control) or regular a/c?

When you say it goes cold - do you mean the overall internal temp or the temp of the air coming out of the vents. It may be throwing cold air out in order to satisfy your request for a colder temperature. This is more in line with a climatronic system though....
