I'm due to pick my car up end of next week and wondered are there any things worth getting done at pdi time rather than waiting till the next service or booking it back into the workshop.
little things that would be easy done in the workshop but that you cant really be bothered bringing it straight back after reading the manual and finding out there is an option you like the sound of.
Mostly things on the workshop computer like alarm beeping/silent when you lock unlock doors etc., the type of things that some have posted about when they have got access to a VAG COM.
cheers

Re: OPTIONS at PDI
There's a few that I'd mention...
When you unlock, do you want both doors or just the driver's?
Do you want it to "auto-lock" when you drive off?
Do you want it to unlock when you take the key out?
Do you want Daylight Running Lights?
Have a think, and good luck with it.

You can do all the above except the DRL's through the Highline computer yourself.
Re: OPTIONS at PDI
But if the car's not a GT you don't gat a Highline Computer, so the dealer has to do it...
