will this engine cover fit my R?

does anyone know if this engine cover will fit my 2012 R. I have a forge twintake so OEM intake doesnt fit.

The best thing you can get with a aftermarket induction kit is the TTS engine cover

Yup the TTS cover is the best fit for all the aftermarket intakes the PN are below:

Cover: 06F 103 925 J
Front Bolt: 06E 103 164
Rear Bolts: (x2) WHT 000 731A

About £100 from an Audi dealer or a little less from TPS.

You'll need a torx bit to drive the bolts in.

A standard engine cover will fit any modded intake, it just depends on how good you are with a Dremel.

I'll post some pictures of my standard engine cover fitted with a Revo inlet, it looks very neat and almost standard, once the Carson airbox is done it will complete the look.

Do bare in mind the stock cover with integral airbox is quite an expensive part to replace if you ever wish to convert the car back to standard for resale for example.

Smoothed TTS all day long rather than hacking up the oem one, you will pretty much get your money back all day long on a smoothed one



I never modify the oem stuff as come resale life is a bit easier

I took an engine cover from the breakers yard so I still have my original stored away should I go back to standard. I've taken the pictures but I have no access to my photobucket account so I'm struggling to get them on here.
