Hi, ive noticed my passenger side front arch lining does not meet up with the front wing wheel arch, theres like a 1 cm gap. Is it best to get the arch lining to meet up to stop any water or rubbish going in the gap or does it not really matter?
Sorry if this seems a daft question! thanks Dean

Sensible question. Mine do meet the wheel arch. Muck under the lining will eventually lead to rust as it never really dries out so worth trying to sort it but probably a fiddly one. Passenger side likely to get more muck that the drivers side.

On a related note, can someone educate me as to why the rear arch lining is carpet type stuff rather than plastic? Is a bind to clean down.

Ah, thanks. That's a bit cheap then really - could have plastic backed or sandwiched with carpet.
Cleaning it tests my bloody patience!
