Few Problems All In A Oner!

Jumped in my scirocco today which is a 2010 model. I got a message telling me I had 4 bulbs out but in actual fact the whole top brake light unit is out with a reversing light, indicator and a sidelight. Also the comfort/sport mode is not lighting up, back window wiper not moving at all and the boot isn't opening from the button on the key.

Booked in for Thursday at VW just wondering if anyone had anything similar they reckon it could be a software problem?

Options: multifunction steering wheel, fogs, 18" alloys; DAB; XDS activated, DRLs reset, lock beep activated; indicator repeat set to 4; covered cup holder, rear seat 12v socket installed. metal pedals, 210 Golf GTi also in the stable. Scirocco gone - miss it. Polo GTI now.
