And so the wait begins

Post by greenstick »

After a lot of dithering over the spec and where to buy from, I have finally ordered the following:

2.0 TSi GT in Rising Blue
Cruise
Parking Sensors
DAB Radio
Vienna Leather (Black)
Folding Mirrors
Carpet Mats

Was initially ordering through Broadspeed, but managed to get a reasonably local dealer to beat it slightly, and they will take my old car as part ex.

No confirmed build week yet, I'm currently wondering if the changes that have been mentioned on here for week build week 22 will apply. A white MFD would be nice, but I wasn't prepared to wait!

Andy is right there, I am on here everyday hoping that I will get mine sooner but its only going to be ready for me on the 1st July. Maybe i should get in touch with the dealer and find out what build week I have.

Well I've so far waited for 3 months and 8 days and still the dealer can't tell me when its coming. Just an estimate of May. The wait has been like torture

My dealer has told me 10 Weeks approx, with possibly another weekd for shipping.

Surely my dealer wouldn't lie to me....would he?

dodds98 - I was hoping that you had ordered a panoramic roof as I had heard of delays with them, but sadly it appears not. I'd best start planning for 12 weeks+ then.
