Bluetooth Screen - RCD510

Afternoon All!

Found a VW bluetooth screen for sale removed from a vw previously for sale fairly cheap! Will this work with a RCD510? I realise it may be quite hard to install, fully prepared for this but has anyone done it before?

What's a "VW bluetooth screen"? If it's just generic, it could have come from an RNS310, 510, RCD310, 510 etc, and not sure if the screens are cross compatible. Maybe someone else can help

I believe its an added extra which works as a phone screen. Sadly didn't buy mine from a dealer so didnt have the option . Seen this at good price and don't want to rush in and buy something i don't know to much about haha

Mmmm, Well, it depends what you mean by "works with RCD510". When a call comes in, it mutes - that's about it.
I used to have this in my motor, but I took it out and installed the VW OEM bluetooth.

Music streaming also only works with certain phones, you will have to check compatibility. A fiscon basic plus installed by third party might be a better option in your case
