Shudder!!!

Hi, im hoping someone could help me with an educated answer to why my car has been shuddering. Im a proud owner of a black 1.4tsi (160) dsg. Its only been happening at certain times which are -
1. Idle (mainly when on a hill)
2. Pulling away from the lights slowly or when im slowing down slowly. (Not all the time, but should i be concerned it happens at all)?

Ive done lots of tasteful mods to the car but the ones that effect performance are-
Apr stage 2 remap
Full custom turbo back exhaust
Decat
K&N air filter

Would appreciate some help ! When the car shudders is it damaging the clutch/ engine? Thanks in advance

Hi Mate,

Get it straight back to the dealers. They will probably replace the mechatronics unit or clutch pack. They did this with my car. The shuddering will only get worse, and its dangerous. It the clutch slipping when taking off.
