RCD 510 transport activation - help!

I am removing my RCD 510 to sell. I have searched the threads to find how to set the CD player transport lock. The instructions are that with the unit switched on to press the arrow buttons at the top of the unit together with the sound settings button for at least 5 seconds. I do not get any message on the screen to confirm that the transport mode is set. All I get is the sound settings screen. Am I doing something wrong or do the most recent units not have a screen message?

Think I eventually found the answer but there were differing opinions. The VW electrician at the local dealership said that only those radios with a transport sticker on the casing have the transport lock and others do not while the manager said he had been dealing with radios for years and never come across it! Since it is a feature of RCD 510 units on some MK 5 golfs as it is mentioned in the on-line handbook and is on the new unit just acquired, I still have some doubts. Makes you wonder how much some dealers actually know.
