245/40/R18 tyres pressure, please advice

Post by nestormirny »

Hello.
If anyone using 245/40/R18 tyres what pressure do you use for the daily city driving?
Now I'm on 2.0 bar/29 psi all round, will be great to hear other thoughts.
thanks!

I used to run 42 psi, but that was on 10x18 wheels

Was it on Scirocco? I think it depends on car weight...

yes, on the Scirocco. Keep the pressure of the OEM tyres, unless the load rating is much higher
