Scirocco Main Dealer Servicing

Post by Topaz »

I live on the edge of East London, near the bottom of the M11. My Scirocco is going to need its first service ( under the free service plan ) in the next few months. I hear terrible things about Jardine in Loughton. Can anybody recommend a good, safe dealer in the area that they have used satisfactorily. In the past, with other cars, I have had such variable experiences.
Many thanks in advance.

I am "from" very near that end of london - was born and raised in hackney. Don't know many VW dealer services around that area to be honest. Why not see if there are any around the hertfordshire area, or possible more in loughton + periphery of essex
Use the vw website to check out franchise dealers, then google up some reviews...

Thanks mate. I think that Inchcape in Romford might be worth a try. :)

You're right near me. What scirocco have you got, I'll keep an eye out for you. I drive a white R.

As for servicing, I'm taking my car to Russell Automotive London, based just off the north circ by Brent Cross.
I've used them for years for my old audi A3. Always a top job.
The guy who owns it is a former VW/Audi master tech. They use all genuine parts and are cheaper than dealer.

Google them, they've got a website.

Hi mate. I have a white 2.0 Tsi. I will look out for you too.
I have the prepaid service pack that requires I use a main dealer. I thought I would try Inchcape in Romford as I have heard very, very bad things about a more local dealer.
Thanks for the input though. :)

Maybe for future ref then.

You didn't just drive down Lea Bridge Road, the Whipps Cross end, did you?
I'm parked up and saw a white tsi drive past.

Probably a long shot. :)

Having met you and knowing you to be a man of taste :) I shall give them a try. Another VW owner also recommended them the other day. Thank you again.
