dash lights and steering wheel control just stopped working

Ok so i was just parked outside my local Takeaway got out and left the hazards on and locked the car. A few minutes later when i was inside the Takeaway i heard the alarm go off,I presume because another car had gone past a bit fast and shook my car as it did so. I just unlocked and relocked using the button on the key and thought no more of it. When i got back in the car i now have the following symptoms

.Dash dial lights dont come on,warning lights and mfd still light up.
.Steering wheel controls have stopped working altogether for radio and mfd.
.Radio doesn't come on with ignition but works when switched on manually.
.Red hazard light above radio is always on but not flashing.
.Both green indicator lights are lit up all the time,even when key is out but not flashing.

Indicator lights work when activated using stalk on steering wheel and when hazard button is pressed. Anyone had similar problems?

Please tell me you sourced the issue and it wasn't expensive? My issue is so identical, it is like I typed this myself!

Any advise would be much appreciated.
