Dear all,
My oil indicator has come on again after only 8 months (approx 7000 miles). Is this norm with the R's engine as I didn't top up my GTs at all ?

i'm assuming you haven't bothered to check given the light is on, you will find this is within the parameters VW say in the handbook, both of our K04 tsi cars use hardly any oil but both were run in, i'm surprised how little they use

not drastic usage, mines used 0.5l in just under 9,000 miles with the same motor in my GTI
