Random Window Problem

Post by stono »

Any one seen this before / know what it is? Nothing is being flagged on diagnostics.

Basically if I use the auto close feature (ie pulling the button to the second click so you don't have to hold it) on the passenger side window, it gets to about 60% up before opening again to completely open! If i hold the close at the first click of the button it closes fine.

Very irritating!

On a side note, first day of true ice today as a new scirocco owner, safe to say my windows were frozen shut this morning, ha, what a silly design!

In the manual book says somewhere that you have to take out the key wait for 10 seconds and then you can start-up and close the passengers window. I had thiw problem and solved thats simply! In my case the window after the lock of the car was opening by itself to bottom!!!! But it fixed by himself with 10 seconds waiting... That's from me...
