Missing a towing eye

Post by cgfrost »

Hi,

Needed to get my Scirocco towed out of the mud a little while ago but the lack of a towing eye in the boot made this difficult, my bad I guess, should of checked it was their when I picked the car up. The dealer got me a new one but I can't get it to fit so I think they sent me the wrong one, could someone give me the part number from their towing eye so I can compare, should just be stamped in the side of the towing eye. Would be useful to know before I have another rant at the dealer.

Thanks, Chris.
