Re: Saris Bones Bike Rack

Just fitted a set of Green bones 3 on my Roc , worked fine no issues , I fitted following the images above (twads) except that I place the top straps inside the hinges rather than outside seemed a more natural fit, the one bit that was reassuring is that the top strap hooks are quite fiddly to remov...

Re: Going to France

Wow this caught me out , just looking at the headlamps on a Roc I cannot imagine where the deflectors would go, I assummed that modern light systems might not need them , has any one got an image of where they should go??

Wheel Brushes

I have got through 2 already  I am having trouble finding a brush that will stand up to the pressure I have to apply in order to shift dirt, I have tried a wheel cleaning spray but still find I have to scrub with a fair amount of elbow grease which these wired brushes just can't cope with

Wheel Brush suggestions

Anyone found a decent brush for cleaning Roc's wheels , I have a Halfords special shaped a bit like a food whisk , but after 4 uses the brushes have flattened out completely such that cleaning becomes very ineffective

Chips on paintwork

To keep a long story short , I got stuck briefly to one side of a lorry carrying road diggers , which deposited a load of sand and pebbles onto the carriageway whilstcrossing a bridge ! , anyway got the car home and cleaned it and noticed about 4 pin head sized chips on the bonnet which are deep eno...

Re: tyre pressure senson on....

Strange coincidence mine came on this week , checked the tyres 3 were at 35 PSI one at 32, I am sure the manual says between 30 - 35 PSI for each tyre , anyway pumped the low tyre up to 35 and reset the warning light and not a problem , manual does say the warning light may come on when driving over...

Re: Delivery of a Leased Car

I think it depends on how smooth the order process has been , I waited 8 months for mine and insisted that they deliver it on a trailer , but I think they were feeling the pressure of a large company who place lots of company car orders a year breathing down their neck so they were keen to please.

Np , I had a little bit of fun fixing , had to end up doing it with the rear tailgate up and thus upside down , but no problem if you have a friendly wife to give out advice ;)

Re: Second thoughts on viper

Don't worry the car looks fantastic , any doubts I had vapourised when I saw mine on the top exposed deck of our office multistorey carpark surrounded by drap white , black and blue other cars , spent the whole day answering questions from collegues as they gazed out the window at it.

Re: Its arrived ! - pictures to follow

Going to give it a clean on Saturday , bought a microfibre pad , wheel brush and a buffing towel as a start but will have to do some research on what to get for the long term, first wash will just be hose off and soapy water I am afraid

First Impressions , DAB, BT and USB

Just very 'first impressions' on the tech options I have in car, Bluetooth , sync'd my HTC HD2 (which is running an Android rom) with no problems. Car detected the phone straight away and the whole process was very quick and smooth , tried it briefly to make a quick call using the contacts list and ...
