I work off miles per tank

On a good long runs I will see 340-360 miles per tank

With town drive (what I mostly do) it ranges between 280-310 miles per tank

Tough but good choice to have between the two cars I love the TTS but didn't really consider it when I chose the Scirocco R. More than likely the above - personally I would remove the rear wiper, looks a lot fresher and smooth without it

What coilovers did you buy? Most companies supply a kit for this

Having come from a 370bhp Audi S3 and a 330bhp Audi S4 avant, putting the power down on a FWD hot hatch/coupe is quite frustrating.

If it wasn't for the looks of the Scirocco I would have gone for another S3 or Golf R.


Apart from that I love the car

That 2.0T badge looks terrible sorry

In my 8P S3 with Revo 2+ around 370bhp my car was between 27-30mpg which was awesome

Now in my R with standard power I would be in around the same to be honest and probably less now since I have moved house and more centrally based with lots of stop starts

If you drive like a granny you may get a few points here and there due to the increase toque figures produced by the map but ultimately thats not what you tune your car for

With the price of fuel these days and 34mpg in a R I would be laughing all day
