Re: How to clean a leather steering wheel
Thanks for the reply Cuprabob.
I have Autoglym leather cleaner so will give it a go this weekend.
Should I apply leather balm afterwards or just use the cleaner?

How to clean a leather steering wheel
Hoping someone can help.
My car has covered 50k miles and I have recently noticed that the leather on my steering wheel feels sticky.
Has anyone else experienced this and if so what is the best way to clean it?

Re: Help Needed - Panoramic sunroof won't close!!!
Thought I'd share an update of my dilemma...... I covered my car with a plastic sheet overnight and managed to keep the interior dry. I spoke to my local VW dealer this morning who informed me there is no manual override to close the sunroof! They managed to squeeze me in today to diagnose the fault...

Re: RNS510 - No GPS Signal
Factory resst may be worth ago I tried a factory reset as you suggested but alas no success. I received a GPS antenna which I purchased from eBay and fitted it this evening. I powered the unit up on my driveway and had 5/12 satellites with 3D fix, hopefully this will increase once I'm out on the op...

Re: passengerseat problem "memory"
Hi It's easy to fit and takes a matter of minutes. You need to remove the holding down bolt at the rear of the inner rail, can't remember off the top of my head the size but know it's a spline bit. Once you've removed the bolt slide the new guide block onto the rail (make sure you fit the correct on...

Re: passengerseat problem "memory"
Hi liri9 I had the same issue with my passenger seat but didn't find any parts, it was like that when I bought it from the dealership. If you push your driver's seat fully back then pull the handle on the top of the seat and slide it all the way forward you will see the part on the inner rail..... T...

Re: Where do you usually fill your Rocco up?
I agree with x.laura.x, Shell all the way! I can't really comment on Tesco's fuel as I've never used it....... I always fill mine with V-Power and have done since ownership, I also used it in my GTI. I have a Shell driver's club card which enables you to collect points and receive money off vouchers...

Re: hands free
Hi Bobby
I have handsfree on my R but it's controlled through the head unit.
I guess yours was not factory fitted, hence the need for the unit on the air vent.
Do you know which head unit model is fitted in your car?

Re: Seat tilt mechanism fault - replacement parts?
Unfortunately you have different symptoms to what I had, my seat would slide forward but would not lock back into place. If you adjust your seat height to it's highest position you should see 3 metal pins which should be lifted when you pull the easy entry handle, if they're not moving, lightly grea...

Hi bobbyjoe and welcome to the forum! I had a very similar problem with my DSG Scirocco R a few months after I purchased the car. I took it to my local VW garage where one of their technicians took it for a test drive and confirmed there was a fault. They said they would need to do further investiga...

Re: Help....mystery part!!
Hi dstill, The mystery part that the garage kindly discovered for you is off a guide block part number 8T0-898-025. Have you noticed that one of your seats no longer returns to it's last position when you let someone in the back of the car? If so you can easily replace the said item and fix your sea...

After some investigation to figure out how the easy entry seat works I have fixed my seat for the pricely sum of £14.58! I managed to track down VW diagrams online from the following website; http://www.partscats.info" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; which helped in recognisi...
