Would Continental Sports Contact 5's be suitable for a Scirocco GT?

I don't notice it when driving. My rattle is when the door is closed. The driver's door closes firmly but the passenger door seems to rattle and not close with a convincing thud, so to speak. Any suggestions or wait until my first service to get it looked at under warrenty?

I got followed for a few miles in my viper on the a13 in Essex, then the blues and two's went on to pull me over! Hi people, I have a 2.0 Tsi and just wondered if anybody elses does this or if I need to book my car in for a check up.... Basically after a journey in the car, say 10/15 mins at a speed averaging around 50mph, when I reach my destination and turn engine off etc, you can hear a 'clunking' noise wher...

Mine does it too. Loads of previous cars I have have done it too. I was told by someone ages ago that it's to do with the angle of the tyres when at full lock which means that they effectively drag across the floor and so cause the noise. Deacon I agree, haven't tried the Roc yet, but my old MR2 Ro...

I cleaned my car today using the Chemical Guys - Bodywash and Wax and the car looks superb. If my phone had a decent camera I'd post some pics, but I'm really pleased with the result of this product.

Just as a side note, I'm an accountant and we are hearing strong rumours the VAT will be increased to 20% too...

I have folding mirrors and winter pack, and have mirror down. I have a week 21 build.

I've got the 'noise' too between 2000-3000 revs but would not describe it as grinding, sounds more like a 'whoosh'. Unless somebody gets better info on here, I personally think it's a normal noise and no cause for alarm.

I got some VW wipes with my Scirroco purely for the cleaning the RCD510 screen. Mine were in the passenger glovebox if thats any help...

So would you recommend switching to sidelights during the day to prolong bulb life?

What do people do about the DRL's? Do you leave it on auto, or do you put the sidelights on during the day? Do the DRL's use special 'longlife' bulbs and hence be better to keep them on rather than switching to sidelights?

I like reading Auto Express, but they are quite bad for these badly knocked up "exclusive" pictures. They haven't even bothered to hide the VW door handles or the little bumps on the boot spoiler from the Scirocco. So the pics are crap and fake then? Hope so, I don't want my beloved Scrio...

What is people's opinions of the door sill protectors on a viper? I'm looking at my car today trying to picture them there but not sure they would look right. Has anybody had them put onto a viper?
