Temp Showing on RNS510

Post by ABN1C »

Was looking on another forum (http://vwnavi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9170&page=7) and saw some folk are going to the extreme of fitting the new heating controls to their VWs and Skodas in order to get the heater information showing on the RNS510.

Seems a bit extreme just to get the temperatures to show on the screen though, so not sure if anyone on here has considered it. Getting the trim for round the new controls would be a bit of an issue.

Here is one someone did on a Golf V:

Pretty sure you can do it by replacing the comfort module and connecting that to the headunit, without replacing all the air-con controls. Not sure I see the point either myself.
