Deadlock Meaning

Deadlock Meaning

Hi hope this does not sound like a thicky question :rolleyes: every time i switch the ignition off the message CHECK DEADLOCK! OWNERS MANUAL!, appears on the MFD, can anybody inform me as to what this refers to, as i have looked in the manuel but cannot find any reference to DEADLOCK. Is this something to do with the central locking system . Hope its nothing too important, but just for peace of mind needed to know if other rocs show this message. :?

I've always wondered that too, I've never had any trouble related to it but it must happen for a reason, whether it be a good one or not?!

It's just a safety message to alert you to the operation of the deadlocks so you don't unintentionally lock anyone in the car.
