Make sure you do a warm up and a cool down lap, will make the tyres/brakes last longer before they fade.
Check the standard fluid levels are all good. Put in the correct tyre pressure!

Doesnt look too bad from the photo, but you can never tell. If it does turn out to be a total loss, dont accept their first offer. Do research, find cars with similar mileage/options as back up to get a better price.

Had mine done on the Scirocco R - £1300 in total. £800 ish for Helix Clutch from Awesome with standard DMF and Release bearing. Then the rest in labour. Quoted 8 hours for the job.

I've just brought a set of Vredestein Ultrac Vorti R for £114.05 a corner delivered (235/35/19 Y91), only could find one review from the R35 GTR guys. But will let you know how they turn out. I went EBC Yellowstuff with Brembo HC discs in the end. Pads F and R were £130 and disc were £180. Alot cheaper than other options. Will say what they are like on the track/Road in Sept

Ive been reading people cut the old wear indicators off of the old pads and then join them two together meaning that nothing needs to be done to the plug coming from the car.

ok i'm almost set on Tarox Strada pads for the front and rear after reading reviews. But i'm guessing these wont come up wear indicators. what have other people done with the sensors to stop the lights coming on?

Flapper mod - How to

There are two ways of carrying out this mod. One is to disconnect the hose completely and seal both ends with something the other is detailed here. Its from the manufacturers Forge. They are meant to have cosmetic damage, but I couldnt find any on mine while I was fitting it.
